Mental Health Consultant & Therapist
I’m originally from the soggy Pacific Northwest and have lived around the West, currently calling the sunny Four Corners home. In my early career, I worked extensively in the outdoor industry, leading and managing recreation and conservation programs. Organizations I’ve worked for have included the Student Conservation Association, Washington Trails Association, Rocky Mountain Youth Corps, and several K-12 and college outdoor programs.
What these roles all had in common were creative and experiential ways to explore ourselves and the world. I was inspired to deepen my understanding of the process of human change and returned to school to get my Masters in Counseling from Oregon State University.
My clinical background includes experience at a domestic violence & sexual assault nonprofit, community health clinic, group private practice, equine facility, and in a K-12 school. I currently work for several organizations supporting mental health and wellness in unique and innovative ways. I am a creative consultant and advocate. I seek out projects that allow me to work towards more equity within the mental health system and expand what we think of as mental health services.
